Health Coach

Quantify is a digital health company founded in 2021 by Lee Webb.

Our mission is to make root cause medicine available to everyone, regardless of location, insurance status, or healthcare access.

Position

We are seeking a health coach to provide health coaching, accountability, and support to our members as they navigate to better health.

You will work closely with members over the course of their membership, during which you will conduct regular appointments with members and maintain contact in between appointments via messaging.

This is a remote position, requiring an ability to work effectively with Quantify staff and members over email, chat, phone, and video chat.

You will start as a part-time, 1099 contractor, with the potential for becoming a full-time employee.

Responsibilities

• Serve as health coach and primary contact to members
• Conduct regular 60-minute health coaching appointments with members via phone or video chat
• Review member health questionnaires
• Determine which saliva, blood, urine, or stool tests are warranted for each member, and submit test order requests to CEO
• Provide instruction to members on how test samples are collected
• Provide interpretation of test results to members
• Create an actionable, evidence-based health plan for each member—consisting of diet, supplements, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction—based on their symptoms and test results
• Make updates to each member’s health plan after each subsequent appointment, based on their progress and additional test results
• Communicate with members via messaging to provide accountability and support as they implement their health plan
• Work with CEO to explore and identify opportunities for improving member health outcomes

Requirements

• Health coach certification from a health coaching school in the United States
• At least two years of health coaching experience
• Training in functional medicine
• Proficiency in interpreting results of the most commonly used tests in functional medicine
• Advanced understanding of dietary, supplement, and lifestyle strategies for resolving chronic symptoms
• Passion for helping people with chronic symptoms to identify and address the causes
• Interest in working remotely for a fast-paced, early-stage startup
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with Quantify staff and members over email, chat, phone, and video chat
• High level of technological literacy
• Ability to quickly develop proficiency with new technology, including our member portal and supplement dispensary
